 PREVENT    DETECT    CURE

Nikki Mitchell Foundation is dedicated to providing comfort and relief to those affected by pancreatic cancer, while raising awareness and searching for the cure.

Join the Fight Against Pancreatic Cancer

In December 2010, Nikki Mitchell was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and given a possible three-month prognosis. Taking the bull by the horns she consulted with renowned medical professionals around the country and her zeal for life never diminished. After thirty-one months of battling this disease, Nikki embarked upon her final adventure on July 9th, 2013.

Nikki shared her last wishes with her best friend, Rhonda Miles, who has dedicated her own life to carrying out Nikki's vision for pancreatic cancer research, support, and patient services. With your help, we can touch even more lives.

Together, the Nikki Mitchell Foundation, Hope Suite Hope, and the Emerald Coast Pancreatic Cancer Initiative have invested nearly $500,000 in pancreatic cancer research, supporting innovative work at leading cancer centers nationwide. Through our partnership with The Pancreas Club, we help identify and invest in some of the field’s most promising and innovative researchers, supporting groundbreaking research that has the potential to transform how pancreatic cancer is understood and treated.

Through the Bridge of Wings program, the Nikki Mitchell Foundation provides essential, practical support to patients facing pancreatic cancer, helping ease the everyday burdens that can become overwhelming during treatment. Support includes transportation to medical appointments, house cleanings, groceries, holiday meals, and individualized assistance based on each patient’s unique needs.

Awareness

In the summer of 2019, the Nikki Mitchell Foundation premiered its Public Service Announcement to a sold-out audience at the Franklin Theatre, shining a powerful spotlight on pancreatic cancer and the urgent need for greater awareness. Today, NMF is building on that legacy by developing a new awareness video that will share the realities of pancreatic cancer, amplify the voices of patients and care partners, and inspire greater understanding, action, and support

Every Donation Helps Families in Need

The financial burden during cancer is often one of the most stressful aspects for patients and their loved ones. NMF believes the last thing they should be worried about is putting food on their table. Your donations help these families in need.
